Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

I am a 19 year old young man that recently got arrested and charged with possesion of marijuanua under 20g and drug paraphernelia. Im just wondering what the liklihood of me going to jail is. When i was 17 i was arrested for armed robbery but it got dropped to a conspiracy to commit armed robbery of which i was sentenced as a juveniille to probation which i have been off for almost two years. Minus the lapse in judgement when i was 17, im not a bad kid. i work 2 part time jobs and go to school full. is there any way you can predict what mightt happen to me? I have no other priors besides from when i was 17. Im going to go to court peeing clean too.

Each of those charges is a 1st degree misdemeanor, carrying up to 1 year in jail each.

The possession charge may also suspend your diver's license for up to 2 years.

Although, first time offenders usually do not get much jail time if any, on these types of charges, your history may affect that if you were found guilty or plead.

Each case is different, and there may be numerous defenses to your case. You may wish to discuss these defenses and all of the facts with an attorney.
