Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

My buddy and I had a discussion about a hypothetical dilemma:

Suppose a webmaster received an anonymous letter from some hate group which calls for a popular uprising and assassination of key political figures in the United States.

Now, what are the webmaster's responsibilities? Does he need to notify the FBI or can he simply post the letter on his blog? Perhaps he can do both. There's a moral issue and, of course, a legal issue. We'd love some third party input, especially from someone who's familiar with the legalities of such a situation. Thanks.

Really? This is a serious website for people with serious legal concerns. We lawyers donate expensive time to try and help people who need it. We don't answer hypotheticals about--I guess--amateur journalism ethics. Let's see, someone makes a threat on the president's life. Should you call the cops?
