what if i buried stolen vehicle parts in a friends yard 8 years ago and now he wants to report it to police ? what are the possibility's of getting arrested?

First of all you never want to admit to committing a crime on an internet forum. Second, the case is probably too old to prosecute, but you could be arrested if the cops have probable cause.
