Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

To whom it may concern,

I would like to know if I could be represented in a legal procedure.

I know a person who will have a trial soon for auto theft. This person has also been threatening me personally (threats to my person and my child).

I am afraid of him. But I simply wish to be left alone by him. I don't want to get into anything complicated.l

I am in a tricky situation. I am supposed to be a hostile witness to him for something that happened about a year ago.

I am being followed medically by a doctor and a neurologist for memory loss issues. It is very hard for me to remember something that happened so long ago.

My wish is to take care of my health and be left alone by him and anything related to him.

I recently happened to come accross some information(and wrote it down so I would not forget) that could interest the prosecutor on his case. Something that could lead to immediate arrest and get back the property.

I wish to know if a lawyer could assist me in contacting the prosecutor (as stress makes me lose my memory even more and to be sure things are presented in a safe way for me.Or aren't lawyers interested in small things like this one?

Also I would like to know if this lawyer could negotiate that in exchange for this tip I could remain completley anonymous for my personal safety. So I would never risk any retaliation in the present as well as in the future. And that I would not be asked to be a witness at the trial so the man would never have a clue. But with the tip they would have everything to arrest him on the spot.

I need to concentrate on my health. It is concerning to have memory loss issues at such a young age. I do not wish to be bothered by this man or legal issues related to him. I need peace of mind. And calm and quiet. But I am very afraid and do not know how to proceed safely (personal safety and legal safety).

Or if my condition could prevent me to be a witness though at this point the origin of the memory issue remains unknown. I have another medical apointment in just a few days I am hoping it will bring more information.

Please let me know what would be the best way to handle this situation.

Kind regards.

If someone is threatening you you need to contact the police right away. An attorney isn't necessarily going to help in this situation. The police will.
