An electronic arrest warrant simply means that the person has an outstanding warrant "in the system." Therefore, that person should speak with an experienced criminal defense attorney in his/her area ASAP. After speaking with an attorney, a "game plan" can be implemented and a possible Motion to Surrender can be filed.

Its usually a good idea to turn yourself into the Court (with an attorney) rather than having to have law enforcement actually track him/her down.

My office handles lots of these cases throughout the Tampa Bay area and I would be more than happy to discuss this with you in further detail. Please check out our website at: www.slavinlawfirm.com for more information.

Good luck,

Mr. Slavin is correct. You should really talk to an attorney first to see if there is some way to turn yourself in without the hassle of the unknown arrest. Give Aaron a call, or you can call me at 727-528-1859.
