Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

Can a mother hide her wanted child?

I have been told under ''special FL statutes'' that a mother is allowed to hide, lie for, and otherwise protect her child who is evading the law and cannot be held liable for obstruction of justice nor aiding and abetting a wanted person. Is this true?

Aiding and abetting a wanted person is a crime. There is no Parent/Child privilege. Send me more info on the statute such as its number or chapter.
