Perscription bottle illegal?

is it illegal to posses an empty perscription bottle without your name on it, or without any pills in it?

No, the mere possession of a prescription bottle is not a crime. Of course, if it is being used to

hold some other criminal item such as a prohibited drug, then it may be a serious problem.

As long as the possession in not associated with engaging in other illegal behavior, such as using it to transport drugs that you are not legally allowed to possess.
