Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

I plead no contest in order to avoid possible jail time. No need to get into details since you hear so many lies it seems mute. I found out the assistant prosecuting attorney was practicing without a valid licence. Do I have any recourse? Thank you. Sincerely, Jen C

You might. I suggest you call an attorney in your local area that handles post conviction relief.

You might. When I was a young prosecutor, one of my colleagues was discovered to have not passed the Bar Exam and was therefore not authorized to file charging documents or try cases or speak in court as an Assistant State Attorney. His cases had to be refilled and disclosures made to all defendants he prosecuted. You may have a shot.

Get a lawyer and look into this and good luck.
