Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
I recently was caught stealing a pair of jeans from dillards in florida. they were worth about 37 dollars. I have a felony on my record from 2005 and have been caught shoplifting one time from wal mart in the past. Am I looking at jail time?

Yes. You are probably facing an enhanced felony petit theft which is punishable by up to 5 years prison. Needless to say, you should talk to an attorney about this to see what defenses or options you may have.
