Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
social security number didn't match my drivers license. Which was true only because I was issued a new social security number from the state of Florida due to domestic violence. I provided them my as card and told them I could get the paperwork to them to prove this was truly me. They impounded my car saying it was brought with that socianumber and placed a hold on it. Also took me to the station and let me go. Was this legal and what can I do

It may have been legal to hold it to determine everything was all good. At this point, I assume you got the vehicle back.
