Legal Question in DUI Law in Florida

On June 7 2005 I received a dui,I completed all court demands years ago.I can have my license back but the dmv says I have to have an alcohol device on my car,but i dont have one,also I have not driven or had any more offensives since they day of the dui.Just dont understand having to have this device. Thanks

You need to look at the record to see if the judge ordererd it. It may be possible to get that waived if it was not ordered by the judge. However, you are going to have to go through a lot of trouble with the DMV. You should look into hiring an attorney for this.
