Legal Question in Elder Law in Florida

My sister and I have lived in same town as our parents our entire lives. Our two sisters have lived out of town most of these years and rarely called or visited them for over 50 years. Now that Mom is 94 years old, they have suddenly appeared and filed charges against me and my sister for elderly abuse, i.e., stealing her money and checks from her checkbook. Mother denies we have done this but have always been there for her. The other two are going for our share of the inheritance with these false accusations. Any suggestions?

First of all your mom is not deceased. Second, does she have a will. Is she competent to sign a will. Get a lawyer and find out. Could be if she is not, you could get guardianship over her since you have been taking care of her all these years.
