Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My babymoms took me to court in order to raise child support. She won the case and now I am paying for court fees and for the attorney SHE hired? What sense does this make? I have to pay $56.09 and an additional $15 a week because she claimed I never paid child support for the first few years of my daughters life. I was 17 years old when my daughter was born and her babymoms never told me she put me on child support until I was pulled over for driving with a suspended license from not paying child support I had no idea I was on. I paid her $100 every two weeks in cash because that's what I thought I was suppose to do. I didn't know how the legal system worked or the fact that she would claim I had not pay her. She doesn't allow me to see my kid at all and has another kid of her own and doesn't make her other babydaddy pay child support but keeps raising mine most likely to support both kids. I don't know where my child lives, what school she goes to, or when I will see her again. I get paid $7.93 an hour, can't afford my rent, electricity bill, food, transportation, school so I can get a better paying job, and court fees I keep receiving every time she takes me to court. I can't afford a lawyer or fees to pay to lower my child support or even fight to see my own daughter. The only reason I'm not even in jail is because of the help from my girlfriend and occasionally from my parents. What can I do? Who do I turn to? All I want is to be apart of my little girl's life but my babymoms wont let me.

Never, never, never pay child support in cash.

Without reviewing the court file I cannot be specific but to obtain visitation you may need to petition the Judge. You may also ask for a modification if the amount exceeds the Florida Guideline.
