Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Child support

My mother has custody of her grandson, his mother is suppose to be paying for child support. She hasn't given one penny to my mother. I need to know how she can go about getting help and payments made. The attorney she had before not once talked to my mother, she was always busy, never returned calls or anything. To this day the mother has not paid my mother anything. We don't even know if she is claimimg him for taxes. She only calls or comes around during his birthday or Christmas, and tells lies to him. What or Who can my mother contact and what can she do to get answers?

Sounds like you need a new attorney. Look on the www.flabar.org for an attorney in your area. Also, you could chose an attorney off this website.
