Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Child Visitation Pick up

I recently relocated three hours from my original address. My X-husband refuses to pay child support. State is suspended his Driver License. State is in process of filing Comtempt Charges against him.

He says it is my responsiblity to delivery he children to him for visitation.

The court papers state he is to pick up children at their residence.

What do I do?

Re: Child Visitation Pick up

Based on your information provided, you do not have to deliver the children for visitation. He is obligated to pay support. Presumably, the motion for contempt will force him to comply. It may be in your interest to offer visitation consistent with the Final Judgment; you are not advised to deny such visitation. For specific advice or representation, you should consult a family law attorney who can review the FJ.
