Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

When a couple is divorced, they then decide to try to work things out eventhough child support is established, but they live together as a family under the same roof. Now that it hasn't worked out and the other has moved on and is dating, she now wants to sue him for back child support. How is that fair and what rights does a man have in this situation?
