Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I have a couple of questions.. My child's father is saying that at tax time.. him and his wife are looking at getting a lawyer, to lower or drop the payments of child support. I have been receiving email after email from them telling me that they are not responsible to care for the child. And she threatened me till tax time, that it was either gonna be dropped or gonna be lowered.. Can this be done? Can I do anything about the emails i'm getting? I block everyone one of em.. but, they just keep coming.. Please give me some advice. Thank you a lot. :)

If he is the biological father of the child (and has not given up his parental rights), he has an obligation to pay child support. If there have been changes in his income, he can petition to have his child support payments lowered. However, that does not mean his request will be granted.

As to the emails - which is your question - this could be considered a form of stalking. Make sure you keep the records, contact the police department.
