Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Crazy question but its worth a shot for the month of may my fiance went to mazatlan mexico to have some dental work done more like a dental vacation, as i watched and supported her 12 yr old boy that just lost his father in a military accident, his mother, my fiance has total and complete control of his inheritance. After not being able to get a hold of his mother for seven days and her not calling i started blowing up the hotel phones, the staff would not connect me to her room sent me to other rooms and when i did get a hold of her she hung up, they even hung up on her 12 yr old boy that just lost his father, i was infurriated,i contacted hotel management, corporate and no luck, come to find out, she was having a relationship with one of the staff which explains why they would not connect me, i wrote the hotel no one will contact me back, i have pictures to prove every thing, she is back now with her head between her legs, but i want to know if there is any lawsuit against the hotel or her?

In order for any lawsuit to be filed, you would need to have some damages. What damage occurred to you based upon the hotel or your fiance's actions? Emotional damages are what first comes to mind so if you were terminated from your employment, or suffered nightmares, or cannot function in the same manner in which you functioned previously, you may have an action for breach of an implied contract against your fiance. Good luck to you.

I believe you have a lot more going on here. I suggest you contact the boy's grandparents. Tell them of the episode that took place. This child needs to be protected and his inheritance before she spends it. If he inherited over $15K then it should be in a bank account under guardianship. Your relationship with her is over - so do something right for the child.
