There is no such thing as a dating violence injunction. You may be referring to and Injunction Against Domestic Violence which is commonly referred to as a "stay away order". If this is only the temporary order, a hearing will be held very shortly (usually within 2 weeks) on the entry of a permanent injunction. You will have the opportunity to be represented and present evidence and testify as to why the injunction should not be entered. If it was the permanent injunction, then you have already had or missed that opportunity.

Get back to Court to see if it can be lifted. Be advised you cannot contact the petitioner about it. Could be a violation.

Usually an injunction lasts a year and then must be renewed, but not always so.

Have your lawyer look into it.
