Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I have been divorced for about nine years from my former wife who lives in another state.About two years before our divorce our son n law borrowed forty five thousand dollars with a payback of six months.A written contract was signed by all parties.The loan was never paid and my x-wife is now going to sue for the full amount..My question is am i entitled to any of the proceeds,if any?

I'm not clear as to whom the money was borrowed , but It sounds as if the son in law borrowed the money from the two of you, together. Either she needs to add you as a plaintiff now, or you will need to get yourself added as a plaintiff if she refuses to add you. Contact a lawyer in her home town about how to accomplish that.

Doubt there will be any proceeds as the Statute of Limitations should have run out on any claim.

Depends on the state in which she sues. If suit was in Florida you might be barred from recovery by the Statute of Limitations, but each state sets their on statute. You would have to be a party in order to share in any recovery.
