Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My fianc has a daughter from a previous relationship and he has not seen her in almost 1 year an has been begging to see her all this time. His daughters mother will not let him have any contact with her unless she feels like it at that point in time which is very, very rare. What steps/paperwork do we have to take to get time sharing/ mandated by the courts?

As he won't get a "do over" if things go badly, he really should retain an experienced family law attorney. However, if he can't afford to, he can find generic forms free on-line. I suggest searching for "Florida Supreme Court" + "Family Law Forms".

He needs to establish his paternal rights. He should be aware that part of the process will include establishing child support.

I maintain offices in Pinellas and Hillsborough Counties.

You can find the forms for free online flcourts.org. You can also get them from your local court house for a fee. Good luck
