Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

After final divorce final and child support stated is due til child turns 18, can I go back and request to continue until child graduates high school? She will still be a Junior in HS when turning 18. - Is this a simple porocess to do myself? - Divorce was done on our own - many gray areas in regards to family home also. It states ex would sign a quick claim deed for me to refinance. - no details as to what happens if I cannot refinance due to economy (upside down morthgage) but also husband has not provided quick claim deed - the document does not specify dates as to when I needed to get the deed signed.

This sounds like you need to contact a law firm to handle this for you. It seems like doing it on your own the first time around has left you agreeing to many things you do not like now and it also seems you have vague language that won't be enforced. A family law attorney will be an investment you probably need to make.

You can't just go back and ask for a do over.

If either he does not abide by the Final Judgment, a Motion to Enforce/Show Cause would be appropriate.

I will not tell you what you want to hear just to be retained.

An internet inquiry is no substitution for an in-office consultation with an attorney.

Contact me to schedule a no obligation office consultation. We could review the case then, and determine if anything can be done to improve your situation.

Feel free to Google me.
