In Florida, should we wait til the dissolution of marriage is done before we exchange personal property?

I think you should meet with a divorce lawyer before exchanging any personal property. There may be unintended consequences if you start dividing property without the aid of a licensed attorney. Many divorce law firms in Florida will offer a free initial consultation to prospective clients.
