Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I hope this doesn't get too confusing. I'm from Florida. My wife is from N.C.. With my job, I move around a lot. I am usually in one place for about a year them moved. We were married in Florida. We were there 1.6 years. My son was born in Fl. He spent his first 6 months there. When he turned 7 months, my wife abandoned the marriage. She took our son and moved to N.C. She refuses to work, seeking more in child support. She has been there 2months. Since she left marriage, I took a promotion, temporaryily moving to Alabama for 12 months. I want to file for child support and divorce in Fl. And she wants to file child support in N.C. cause she will get more money. Can I file in Fl. I still have Fl. Driver License Fl.tags and paystubs still say Fl. Honestly don't know if next I will go to S.C. or Fl. Can I file in Fl?
