Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I had a one nightstand and as a result my 4 month old son was born, when i was 5 months pregnant i told the father that the baby is his, but i don't want him in my life or my child's. now he says he will order a paternity test... can i be forced to take the test? he does not know where i live or any information. how do i keep him out of our lives?

You can keep him out of your life. If the child is his you will not have a choice. He has as many rights as you do when it comes to the child's life.

You'll have to agree to a paternity test. Otherwise, the court orders them pretty much automatically if he files for paternity ("father's rights"). If he does file for paternity, timeshare (custody and visitation), child support, and other rights regarding your child will be ordered. You can't simply keep the father out of his child's life.
