Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

recently a judge granted my wife a divorce and ordered me to return some items to her that are mine. What happends if I dont return the items?

When you say the items are yours, do you mean that they were your non-marital property that the judge awarded to her?

If you refuse to comply with the Final Judgment, your ex-wife will most likely file a Motion for Contempt and Enforcement. You would probably end up giving her the items anyway, as well as potentially being liable for her attorneys fees and costs.

You may be held in contempt and be ordered to pay fines and/or fees incurred for her having to pursue the matter.
