I've experienced financial hardship and in the thousands in arrearage.Haven't seen son been isolating him for 17year's.Wife was deported finances hasn't been the same since. While I wait for the motion. I was offered a quick"under the table"job and can at least give 1,000$ and apply for Modifications proceedings or get a job and report income a.s.a.p for deduction purposes? Also what proof can I provide for my finace back-up.

You must appear at the motion or you may be held in Contempt of Court. A tax return showing little income would be proof.

The petitioner has the burden of showing you can afford got pay. The court will want to know why you are not working.

You are required to appear for a motion for contempt. If you want to modify the support you have to file a supplemental petition.
