Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

I have a car, still under factory warranty, that I believe has a problem with the transmission, even though I have complained numerous times to dealers and the transmission was finally replaced only to have the new transmission exhibit the same issues. The dealer that replaced the transmission says those "problems" are normal operation of the transmission. But I don't have that in writing. Would I have any liability if I sold/traded the car and the transmission failed, since I may have been aware there was a "problem" when I sold it?

I would recommend stating that you just had a new transmission installed, that the vehicle may still have a factory warranty but is being sold by you "as is."
