Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

My daughter, on SS Disability (mental disability) and myself, a Sr citizen, were pressured into purchasing a new a/c unit. Contacted the AG of Floida and they are working on our case. Just learned yesterday that the contract with the finance company has our names forged on doc. Do we need to get legal help or wait until the AG has finished their investigation. Thank you.

The attorney general may possibly resolve your matter, however, in my own experience, they investigate far more cases than they actually resolve. You can certainly involve an attorney at any stage, however, this does not sound like a matter that most attorneys would handle on a contingency, so it would probably have some costs for you guys. It may be prudent to sit down with an attorney in your area and discuss prior to making a final determination. Good luck, either way.
