Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida
An Ex-Girlfriend and room mate moved out of the apartment we shared. She gave no notice, and paid absolutely nothing after that point. Additionally she locked a bank account that had only her name on it, but that we combined had managed to save up. Without a written agreement Is there no way for me to recover any of that money, receive money toward the apartment, or have her pay a penalty to be removed from our lease? She also took with her furniture that we both owned, Is there a way to recover my share of those items?
