Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

I moved to tallahassee fl from Panama city FL because my ex father in law promised me a way to go a place to live and work remodeling a house he had just bought. He moved a new gf in at the same time who doesn't want me here and after about a week kept threatening to kick me out kept cutting the power off ( I live in his fifth wheel in his front yard which my mother in law happens to own half of) now they are threatening eviction. I quit my job and everything have been put under alot of stress because of this. Can I sue him?

The promise to pay and give you a place to leave open ended is not likely supported by legal consideration and you will have problems enforcing it. Unless all the terms of a contract are identifiable, you will have difficulty enforcing the contract in a suit. Seek some legal guidance with any and all written documentation you may have.
