Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

I am in the process of renewing my AccessFlorida Food Benefits application. Originally, when I applied for benefits I was unmarried. However, I have since married and here's my dilemma: I had to travel outside the state of Florida to marry as I am a male who married another male. Florida does not recognize same sex marriages as I cannot obtain a driver's license from the DMV with my married name. That being said, technically aren't I considered UNMARRIED in the state of Florida since my marriage is illegal in this state and unrecognized by the state? Please advise ASAP.

Obviously a difficult area. Each State, however, should recognize the unions from other States. Out of an abundance of caution I would reflect the married and State it occurred in and the date it occurred on. Let the program decide if that is relevant.
