Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

Do, we take own the vechile since we paid for it ?

My, husband, and myself brought a plymouth voyugar for my son and his family since they dropped in on us, moneyless and jobless. It was understood verbally that it was a loan. But when i told my husband to write out an agreement my son got very upset and refused to sign it.The total is nearly $4,600.00, Now at this time they are getting ready to move out and we might not get an address, due to the way they dropped in on us, and put us in a bind when they did.We need to know if we are the owners of the vechile, we have the cancelled checks for the vechile, for it's repairs, and everything else. What do we do?Please help.

File a lawsuit for repayment of the loan and have your son and his spouse personally served before he leaves town.
