Are you in Florida or abroad? If you are here, in the U.S., what is your immigration status? What did your dad file for you? Did you get a "greencard"? Were you naturalized as a U.S. citizen? Where's your dad now? Does he still have your documents? If you can prove your U.S. citizenship, then the U.S. embassy or a consulate abroad will be able to help you with a passport. If you're in Florida go to the nearest United States Postal Service and talk to them about a passport. If you had a "greencard" and you've been living in another country for four years, the authorities may find that you "abandoned" your residency in the U.S. If you've been in this country unlawfully, that could be a problem for you. You may want to make a FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) request to find out what records are in your immigration file. Contact a competent immigration lawyer near you to discuss your case with. He or she should be able to assist you.
