Legal Question in Insurance Law in Florida

need help

A truck had parked next to my car got on fire burned my front bumper and my fender on my car. The fire rescue was there. I called the person insurance, they told me they're not going to fix my car because it was not a collision. I don't think that fair at all; i need some one to help with this situation .

Contact the owner of the car. Find out how the car fire ocurred. The owner may be responsible if he was negligent. Contact your insurance company. If you have comprehensive insurance, that will cover it.

What kind of property damage are we talking about here. How much $ in damages would you estimate the fire caused?

Persuant to florida law I would demand a copy of their insurance policy.
