Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

Abuse at work!

I have been verbally abused on several occasions at my work. I have them documented thru emails. It is very difficult to go to work everyday with the abuse. What should I do.

Believe it or not, verbal abuse is not per se illegal in an employment setting. However, in order for it to be "legal," it can't be discriminatory. This means that you can't verbally abuse someone regarding their race, religion, disability, age, national origin, color, or gender. Similarly, the abuse must be equally directed to all classes, not just hispanics, for example. You would need to provide additional information to determine if you had an actionable claim.
