customer will not pay

i have a painting business, me and this lady made a proposal agreement for me to do the work for 1,350.00. i asked for 350.00 down for my materials, which she gave me. now i'm finished with the project, she is ignoring my calls. i want to know what my rights are. thank you.

Yes, I would encourage you to contact a contract lawyer- to discuss a possible breach and liens to recover your payment.

It will cost you more to hire an attorney than the amount you are seeking. For that reason, file a small claims action. Call the Clerk of the Court and they will tell how how to do it and how much it will be to file the claim. If you win, you can ask the Judge to refund the filing fee.
