Employer withholding tips
My employer withholds a percentage of my credit card tips to defray the cost the credit card companies charge them. Are they allowed to charge us for their overhead?

This is a question better addressed to the Department of Labor. Frankly. it doesnt seem unfair for your employer to deduct that amount, but it may still be illegal.
