Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

I am out on FMLA leave that will be exhausted as of Aug. 9th. I am currently on short term disability for a fall that injured my neck, shoulder, and back. What should I do? I am not healed, but I need insurance badly due to health issues. Will I be able to receive unemployment benefits? Do I have any options?

Was it a work related disability? If so you may want to file workers compensation claim. Are you going to be cleared to return to work? If not, is their any long term disability insurance you can make a claim on? Does you employer have any light duty available to you? These are just some of the questions that need answering.
