labor laws-holiday pay

i am part time and was wondering if there is any florida law requiring time + 1/2 pay for a worked holiday. ie. indipendence day.

There are no state or federal laws that require employers to pay you time and a half for working on holidays. It is usually an agreement that employers and employees have. 1 and 1/2 rate of pay is required for certain employees eligible for overtime wages after working in excess of 40 hours in a workweek.
