Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

Non-Payment

i worked a day for this man at $6.00 an hour (not even minumum wage) for ten hours and he paid me with 10.00 dollars. i worked a total of ten hours and he refused to give me my money. They told me to file at small claims court. How do I prove that i worked. My disappointment is with how he thinks he is getting away. I'm not as much as concerned with the money but he can't do that to people. please advise me on what to do.

Re: Non-Payment

You should talk with an attorney. It may be possible that your claim for unpaid wages will also include asking the court to order this employer to pay your attorney fees too.
