Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

I put my two weeks notice in today with my employer of 7 years and after I signed my notice they told me I could not work out my two weeks and said that the shift would be my last. Do I have any legal rights in the state of Florida protecting me against wrongful termination like this?

Your termination was not wrongful. Absent a contract stating otherwise you can be fired at anytime for any nondiscriminatory reason.
