Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

Vehicle Allowance

Can a company not pay the agreed vehicle allowance if the vehicle is not used during a week when the employee is still working but out of town? The company paid for the rental vehicle but the employee vehicle was driven to a parking facility and left there until return. the company also paid the parking fee.

Re: Vehicle Allowance

it depends on what the contract says and when the allowance is owed. if owed every week, then it does not matter if the car is being used. if owed only when the car is being used, theresult is different.
