Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida
If my apartment lease is up on Nov 30,2008. Am I required to pay rent for dec if I do not give them 30 day notice that I am moving out? I thought my lease end date of Nov 30,2008 was my notice. I had all of my items removed from the apartment by Nov 30.

The terms of your tenency are governed by your lease agreement. If the lease says you must give notice or intention not to renew the lease and vacate the premesis, then you do. If not, the lease ended on Nov. 30, and you properly vacated, so you do not owe December rent.
