I am a current tenant renting and got papers from the state saying the house is being foreclosed. I am not buying, only renting from a realtor business. Now I Have a summons packet. What do I need to do as a tenant renting.

respond to the lawsuit and advise about your status. do you have a written lease? for a specific term? provide that info in your response.

You should answer the allegations which apply to you - there's probably only one out of many. If you have a written lease, the lease survives the foreclosure. That means that you cannot be made to move out until the end of your lease simply because the home's owner is being foreclosed.
