Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

I live in a apartment complex in Tampa, Fl and i ahev been here since 11/29/11. I gave a list of things that has not been corrected and came in and followed up 2 other times about it not being done. At no time did some one come to my apartment to make the repairs that needed to be made since the day i moved in. No because i gave 45 days a dnot sixty they are trying to charge me the additional 15 days difference. they are not willing to wave the fee even though i feel that they have broken there part of the contract by not doing repairs that are needed. is there any way that i can fight this.

Sure you can fight it. Do you have copies of your requests for repairs? How much do they want for the 15 days? The lease you have is an agreement between landlord and tenant. You are not entitled to break it just because they did, but if they press the issue, you can take them to court and let a judge decide the outcome.
