Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

I live in a campground in Florida and the landlord is constantly threatning eviction if you don't comply with every little rule his live-in girlfriend comes upwith. Unfortunatly,I had to call law enforcment twice in 1 day due to domestic violence and now she's on Facebook basically humiliating me for letting my fiance back in and anouncing my looming eviction and it's because I called 911. I have lived here for almost 5 years and I am disabled. Can they really evict with out notice? Is it legal to humiliate me in publicfor that reason?

First off, no she can not evict you without notice and even after notice for whatever reason she states, if you don't comply, then she MUST actually file an eviction in the court house to have you served with papers. At that point you can answer the complaint and have a hearing.

Secondly and more importantly, please contact through Florida Bar an attorney who deals with American Disability Act for disabled persons. I am sure that what she is doing is harassment and abuse and she can be sanctioned by the courts for that.

As to the facebook - block her on your page. However, I would allow her to make an arse of herself and show these messages to the Am. With Disability Attorney and let him handle it. She will lose and have to pay his/her attorney fees.

So sorry for your situation. Please call the Florida Bar and get help.
