Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

I rented a room out from a guy and in the drive way there was an old brick wall in the driveway. I hit the wall with the a truck and knocked a piece of the wall off. Two days later I got the wall repaired. It only needs to be painted. He wants me to pressure wash the whole wall which is very old and paint was already chipped away. I told him that I was only painting the part I damage. As long as I fixed what I damaged, do I have to paint a wall that was already in bad shape before I hit it?

You likely have to put it into the condition it was before the incident. If your repair won't blend in there may be responsible for making sure it all matches. It is more aesthetic than legal.
