renter

I am renting a home and have a lease till january tho the owner is selling and will probaley sell this month.how long do i have before i have to move.i had plan on leavingin january I have no money to move right now.please help

since you have a valid lease you should be able to remain until then end of your lease term. You should review the lease to see if there are any provisions which require otherwise, but the purchaser is buying the property with an obligation to you at this point. The lease between you and the current landlord should be disclosed to the purchaser and they should be buying it subject to the lease.

Additionally, the purchaser may be buying it as investment property and may prefer to keep you as a tenant. I would suggest that you make your wishes known to the current landlord and the purchaser as soon as possible.
