Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

hi - tenant in florida has a one year lease. she is the only one on the lease with guests not permitted for more than 3 days. she asked if she could have a male move in with her - our answer was that it would be fine if he passed a background check - she has moved him and and refuses to even give us as much as a name. the other tenants in the complex are uncomfortable with this - what steps do I take

Review your lease and notify her, if appropriate, under her lease that she needs to remove the subtenant or risk being evicted. If she does not remove him, you can notify her of the termination of the lease based on her violation, assuming your lease allows for that remedy. You would need to give statutory notice of the termination of the lease. Seek some legal guidance with your actual paperwork.
